2. What data we collect and why
Orders & Payments (Mollie)
When you order a product on rollar.nl, we collect data to process and ship your order.
- Personal data: Name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.
- Payment details: We use the payment provider Mollie to process payments. Mollie processes your payment (via iDEAL, credit card, etc.). We do not have access to your full bank details or credit card number; Mollie only informs us whether the payment has been successful.
Cookies
We use cookies to ensure the website works properly:
- Functional cookies: These are necessary for the WooCommerce webshop to function (for example, to remember your shopping cart and manage your session).
- Analytical cookies (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to track visitor statistics. We have configured this in a privacy-friendly manner in accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority:
- We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google.
- Your IP address will be masked (anonymized).
- Sharing data with Google for their own purposes has been disabled.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor's IP address, and the browser user agent string to help spam detection.
3. Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. We only share data with partners who are necessary to process your order:
- Cloud86: Our Dutch hosting provider. Here, the website and all your data are securely stored on servers in the Netherlands.
- Rockstar Fulfilment: Our partner for processing and shipping your order. They receive your name and address details to pack the product and arrange logistics (shipping).
- Mollie: For secure payment processing.
- Google Analytics: For anonymized statistics about website visits.
4. How long we retain your data
- Order information: Due to the legal tax retention obligation of the Tax Authorities, we are required to retain invoice details (such as name, address, and order details) for 7 years.
- Comments: Comments and their associated metadata are retained indefinitely so that we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments.
- Account information: When you create an account, we store your profile information for as long as your account is active.
5. Your rights regarding your data
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- Right of access: You can request an overview of the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can ask us to amend your data if it is incorrect.
- Right to erasure: You can request us to delete your data (with the exception of data that we are legally obliged to retain, such as for the tax authorities).
